Kyle Hamilton

Kyle Hamilton is looking forward to competing in the USAC National Pavement Midget Series in 2011 with Nine Racing. After getting started in quarter midgets in 2001, Kyle quickly climbed the racing ladder that has brought him to the position he is in today.

Kyle’s success began when he won his first quarter midget championship in 2004 at the Mini Indy Speedway in the Light 160 division. The early championships would help propel him to further success in bigger cars when he won his first Kenyon Midget race at the Indianapolis Speedrome in 2005. In 2006, he earned the US 24 Speedway Rookie of the Year honor in 600 cc mini sprints. Three consecutive championship seasons followed in the USAC Kenyon Midgets, Ford Focus Midgets and Regional Midgets. In 2010, Kyle competed in his first race with Nine Racing at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale in the annual Turkey Night Grand Prix. He came home with an impressive 4th-place finish and hopes to capitalize on that momentum in 2011.

Off the track, Kyle is a distance runner and graduate of Danville Community High School in central Indiana. He plans to attend Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, in the fall of 2011.
