Jimmy Sills

Nine Racing Driver 1991, 1994

World-renowned racer Jimmy Sills scored two victories behind the wheel of a Nine Racing speed machine, winning two ESPN "Thunder" Races at Ventura Raceway in 1991.

Throughout his more than 25-year racing career, Jimmy has won over 400 open wheel races throughout the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Additionally, he has won races in the following racing groups: USAC (sprint, midget, and Silver Crown), CRA, SCRA, BCRA AllStars, WRA, and IMCA. He’s a three-time USAC Silver Crown Champion, six-time Northwest Dirt Cup Champion, two-time Jawhawk Nationals Champion, Australia Pan Pacific Champion, Silver Dollar Speedway Champion, Baylands Raceway Track Champion, Perris Speedway Oval National Champion, All Star Ohio Speedweek Champion, Queensland Australia State Champion, and has plenty of wins in the World of Outlaws.

In 2000, Jimmy focused his efforts toward creating a driving school: Jimmy Sills "School of Open Wheel Racing." It is designed for drivers of all levels, from those wanting to learn the basics to drivers who bring their own cars for an all-out, two-day racing overview or people to practice and test during the middle of the week. Currently, if a race sounds like fun to Jimmy, he might strap into a race car somewhere and jump right in; otherwise, he’s at his school teaching someone the better way of driving an open wheel car on a dirt track.
